Grilled Halloumi

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1-2 8.8oz of Kryssos Halloumi Cheese

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Freshly ground black pepper

  • Fresh spinach and tomatoes (for garnish)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  2. Cut the halloumi cheese into 1/2-inch thick slices. Brush both sides of each slice with olive oil to prevent sticking. Place the halloumi slices directly on the grill grates.

  3. Grill for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the cheese has nice grill marks and is golden brown (be careful not to overcook).

  4. Remove the halloumi from the grill and place on a serving platter.

  5. Sprinkle freshly ground black pepper over the top.

  6. Garnish with spinach and tomatoes.

  7. Serve immediately while the halloumi is still warm and crispy on the outside.
