Grilled Halloumi
INGREDIENTS:
1-2 8.8oz of Kryssos Halloumi Cheese
2 tablespoons olive oil
Freshly ground black pepper
Fresh spinach and tomatoes (for garnish)
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Cut the halloumi cheese into 1/2-inch thick slices. Brush both sides of each slice with olive oil to prevent sticking. Place the halloumi slices directly on the grill grates.
Grill for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the cheese has nice grill marks and is golden brown (be careful not to overcook).
Remove the halloumi from the grill and place on a serving platter.
Sprinkle freshly ground black pepper over the top.
Garnish with spinach and tomatoes.
Serve immediately while the halloumi is still warm and crispy on the outside.
